good lord 200+ must be a light ass rider adn chassis set up!!!

i have a stock cylinder 421 ( 68mm bore 4 mill stroke crank) its not a "drag bike" by any means but it runs very well. lots of tq on it BUT as stated its a HUGE combonation of correct domes, reeds, correct porting, crank true, piston balance, ignition tweaks, etc etc etc that got it to that point..

my wife's 350cc has spanked a bunch of 4 mills in its limited exsistance. most of that is from massive porting and lots of tuning and motor set up. along with a chassis it dosent overpower and is easy to ride. in my opinion thats one of the biggest things i see screwed up on smaller builds. jsut chassis that cannot handle the hp or cannot put it to the ground..

so what in your spect is the most important part in a drag banshee?

Just read what they are saying . There isn't just ONE important part of a drag bike. The fast bike have all kinds of parts that work together . Just search and read as much as you can . I will tell you right now there are always different ways people will tell you that it needs to be done. Some say it won't work and others are using it. Without me knowing much the best advice I can give you is call a site sponsor and get some advice from him.

Thats when you choose wisely or who you want. Pick a big name or someone with proven results and go with it ie McCoy,Titan , k&t ,no limit powersports just to name a few. Not mentioning those names for a reason that's just who came to the top of my head . I've been in your situation and your just gonna have to pick what you want and go with it

clutch tuning is pretty tricky, i did pruchase a direct drive with the clutch cover, it sitting in my tool box at home, i just don understand the whole spring thing, and where to get them, i am thanking of just throwing it in their and try getting use to leaving the line on half throtlle instead of wide open throttle, i want to learn to tune that lock up cause i know that this will bring alot out of my bikes performance

X2 on the good place to start!

Springs are pretty easy to get. Tuning a clutch set-up is what you put into it. Our tuning process goes in a big circle: carbs, timing, gearing, shift points, porting & dome configuration just to name a few areas. We spend a good amount of time in one area. Then usually find we have to make another change in another area & so on. It just keeps going round & round. LOL!
