Wiring Connectors

Recommended Posts

Ok so I am looking for electrical connectors for my 06 shee. I have tried to get them from a couple of atv shops. I am told that Yamaha does not sell them that way. If you want the connector you need to buy the whole part to connect it. So does anyone know who supplys Yamaha with their connectors? I am hoping that I don't have to start cutting everything and using regular auto connectors.

So anyway what I am looking for mainly is the engine stator, kill and light switch, and tors.

Thanks for the help.

A lot of the connector are the same as 80s or 90s Toyota pickups. BUT I went to my local Toyota dealer and tried to buy them, but they said they were no longer available. You might try this place to see what they have-http://vintageconnections.com/. I wanted to build a harness from scratch to accomadate a high output stator with the ground floated, a DC conversion, and other mods but had no luck finding connectors that would work with the OEM stuff, so I figured that if I was going to do it, I would have to go with Weatherpack or Duetsch connectors and wire accordingly.

Thanks everyone for the input. After calling Yamaha USA and talking to them and being sent on a chase that lead to nothing I ended up doing a better search for myself and found a web site that actually sells what i was looking for.

Starwriter; I don't want to hook the tors back up, I actually have another plan for them on my bike and wanted to use the connectors for it.

Finch; thanks for the offer, if this ends up being a bad deal that I just might shoot that pm

Bansheesandrider; I am not totally sure what will happen if you use the stock stuff but if you want to get stock stuff from this website I will send you the web address. I know most of these connectors are used on street bikes so you never know what kind of power they will handle.

Thanks again for all the help
