BeeCanBanshee
Was curious if one were to miss match the pipes if it would have any effect on performance or just in sound? For example fatty's with pro circuit silencers.
sheerider11
Possible. Highly doubt it tho. Silencers are just that. I'm sure if you have a heavy breathing motor, like a dm then probably. But if your at that point your not thinking fmf and pro circuts. Hell your prob not thinking about silencers.
Surfrjag
I dont think it will matter unless there is a length difference. Im runnin proc's with fatty silencers. I dont think it makes a difference.
BeeCanBanshee
Cool. That's what I figured now does changing the silencers change exhaust note?

AKheathen
toomey silencers work better at tightening up fmf pipes. it does make some difference and it does matter how much motor you have. pro circuit silencers more or less will change the sound a bit. sound change comes from pipe and core diameter, lenght, chamber volume, and core design

Banshee Chad
The more power ur making, the more of a diff it will make. My bike is stock besides the cpi pipes, and when I go to mtns or need spark arrestors, I bolt on my modified stock silencers (fully welded to fit perfect), and it mostly changes sound, seems to run a tad richer...but that's also going from almost no restriction to the most restriction.
