banshee-bahrain
is (15 - 47) sprocket on a stock banshee will be OK, or is it going to hit the rear skid ?!
WINDYCITYJOHN400
No reason to run that big of a rear. 47-15 That's a 3.13 ratio You could go with a 44-14 and have a 3.14 ratio. It's virtually the same thing and you won't have such low ground clearance and no skid plate issues.

BigRed350x
WTF is a skid plate?
sheerider11
WTF is a skid plate? It's a shovel that hangs low of the back of the bike that gets you stuck and is also a force feeder for sand to your carrier bearings.

Nieskes
Try it out, Im not sure of anyone who has tryed it. I thinks that's why you have not got an exact answer.

Did you read what I posted???? If you think you need a 47 rear....the problem is you went one tooth BIGGER on the front. 14-44is the same as 15-47! If you need more torque than that....you need a fresh top end. Or it's time to start building a strong 4mill LOL
Starwriter
14-44is the same as 15-47! and is basically the same as 13-41.
WINDYCITYJOHN400
and is basically the same as 13-41. Yep. Plus a 41 or 44 tooth will fit with a skidplate A 47 will rub and if anything gets between skidplate and chain.....instant jam.
Pasi S.
I have now 16-47 and it is OK. It is same as stock. I use that for 20" cut Dirt, 20" paddles, and 22" ProWedge II tires. Only one positive thing with those big gears are (IMO), that the chain will not "jump over" in front, like it sometimes have made with 13 or 14 front sprocket. You must be running your chain way to loose or your sprockets are junk. You should not be jumping teeth on a 14 front sprocket

You should not be jumping teeth on a 14 front sprocket X2 I'm sure there is some theory that he's following in running a 16-47......but as far as I can see, it's just 8 more links of chain that are adding to the friction of the chain moving and meshing as well as that much more rotating weight the motor is having to fling in a circle. Not to mention less ground clearance....... But it's a free world.

All my sprockets are allmost new, and that chain has less than 10 hours on it. I don´t know why, but in steep and bumpy hills it sometimes jumps over with 13 and 14. Yeap, it can be a little loose chain. And remember, I did not say that 16-47 is good for anything. The OP asked so I told how I feel. I thinks that's why you have not got an exact answer. i tried them, and the 47T at the rear hit the ground even with full air tires .. hahahahahaahah, i couldn't even install the chain i have to dig the ground ..... the biggest sprocket i could install on stock wheels and tires was 42T, which was perfect ......
