The rear bolt still has OK threats but the front is ripped right out. I got longer bolts for the nerfs like needed so that wasn't the problem. What should I do? Tap it with a bigger size or? locogato11283 Posted September 30, 2012 Report Share Posted September 30, 2012 There are a couple fixes for the foot peg area.. 1. You can use all thread in the rear. Drill out both sides and run a piece all the way through and put a nut on the outside of the pegs. 2. Have a machine shop cut you inserts. Cut out the old ones and weld in the new ones.
