Whats your all opinion on them i was thinking of running them 18 paddle staggered on my 421 serval i hope they will be to much tire for it now so when i have it ported it will be ok anyone got some pics of these tires or a vid of them in action

Too much tire. When my serval was unported,9pdl Brats were a good "dune" style tire, but not great for drags. When it was ported they still worked fine for duning . 18 is waaay too much for a serval.

I kinda thought the staggered would just be a little more than the strate 9 paddle but paddles are something i dont know much about

i have a set of comp cut 9 paddles on wheels if you are looking for a good dune tire. They do pretty good a drag racing, but are not as good as a dedicated drag tire. ..but a dedicated drag tire isnt going to "dune" as well as the Brats,so pick you're poison. If you want just a straight drag tire, you'll want to look into some SLS, full buff haulers. probably 21" or 22" tall. I will say the comp cut brats are lighter than the ultra-light haulers.

drags at busco with a 421 i would recomend some 12 extreme sls. im running a 421 on alky drag ported with some 14 stag extreme sls.

what kinda classes do they have there ive never been and this is my first banshee build im building it mostly for et classes and breakout classes. im a big guy 350 plus so its about impossible to be competitive in a heads up class

they have been doin index racing. be sure and look into dunn benson and wallace, they are nearby tracks you may be interested in as well. dunn benson has a race today but it looks like its going to be rained out, otherwise i would be there.. maybe ill see ya at a race sometime.

Here is a 9 paddle brat launching at busco. I love these tires as I do everything with them best all around dune tire and they last forever. My last set last me 6+ years they never wear out and they always hook. As far as competitive drag tire they aren't the best off the line but hook hard up top. You will never be able to pull anything more then a 9 paddle w that setup stated.

Id have to agree with Nasty on his assessment of the Padla brat tire. They wear VERY well, are ULTRA light, and have great mid race and top-end pull. They just dont seem to bite as hard out of the hole as say a 72-73 roll out Hauler.

From the looks of the picture, you alls "sand" is pretty tight. Ours is like powder,so thats probably why you are getting a better bite than we do with them,,,at least out of the hole.
