BansheeTeam
Hey everyone! Alright so i'm running toomey t-5's v-force reeds 3, and k&n pods with outerwears my current jetting is a Dynojet needle set to the 3rd groove stock pilots (25) and 300 mains. When i first installed it i noticed it to be slightly lean like I knew I needed to go one size up but yesterday after a ride i noticed it to be too lean like when i was riding WOT it was bogging and when i released a bit of the gas it went faster so I'm thinking of either re-installing my air-box and run it with a uni or k&N (there both the single ones) and keep my 300 main or stay with my pods but go bigger on the mains I have 270's 280's 300's and 340's think it'd be a good idea to try out the 340's i know its kind of rich but... What do you guys think Also I do have 30 pilot jets but when I wanted to install them the mechanic suggested not to so I didn't because i dont hear any bogging or see any problems with the stock pilots should i replace the 25's to 30? Thanks yall
sheerider11
27.5 300 that should be close. What's your elevation? Is that the needle that comes with the toomey pipes? Anyway, change one thing at a time. Do a few plug chops and see where your at.

It's really hard to get pilot jets over here I just have the 30 but I dont think thats the problem its just 3/4 of the throttle and above at WOT = main jet and by the way my timing plate is set at 0 i'm going to have it +4 degrees which means i need a size up so if I +4 it and rejet to 340 i think i might be running a little rich but then again the weather is getting cooler. Do you think it's a good idea I might throw in the 30 pilots if i run the box and remain on the 300.

I did, I couldn't find any. I think it's time I go get me a 320. I am using the dynojets needle on the 3rd groove everything A-okay on the bottom just at WOT

BansheeTeam
pods ftw! as long as your not gonna be going in deep water I don't make contact with water at all. Worst case is when I wash the bike but i cover the pods or it if rains which it rarely does (very often) I live in Bahrain its in the mid-east near Dubai
sheerider11
Raise the needle one notch richer. My girlfriends bike runs 27.5 300 stock needle with k&n and fattys
