old put-put
So Royal Purple 0-40 is the way to go? How many quarts do i poor in? I heard Yamaha makes a good fluid for them too, is this true? Can some post a pic of the actual bottle (royal purple) so I grab the correct one. Thanks dont have a pic but it comes in a purple bottle, yellow cap, and is the only one that says royal purple on it. you can use whatever weight or multi weight you want as all the viscositys are safe for wet clutches. Finch
I've used Bel Ray Gearsaver, 80W. I've used 10W30, Royal Purple, ATF Type F, ... The only thing I can tell you for 100% certainty is you'll change ATF fluid more often. But for the price you can do that easily. Motul makes good stuff too. i was always told to not use type f
