If it just revs to wot then look at your carb sllides the needles or a needle might be stuck and didnt go into the carb properly holding the slide up or the slide groove might not be lined up in the carb Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Being to rich on the top end will sometimes cause your engine to rap out and not make any power and make the engine overheat. If it only happens at the wot its in your main jets im at 1100 and have almost the same mods and i run a 180 main and im dialed in you are much higher at 3000 with less air hope this helps.
