dunner250
Dammit this sucks! What caused this?
Infamous039
1. Did you mix you fuel ? 2. Did your motor pass leakdown test with no air leaks ? 3. Was your jetting right ? There are several factors that could have cause this, you may want to check over everything when you rebuild the motor. Hows the crank ? Are the bearings tight on the rods ? dunner250
Prior to this I had a reed that was chip, but it was replaced. It failed shortly after that.
guns4children
Do you guys really use sealer at the reeds?
guns4children
Well slap my cock and call me DDQ. I might just do that before my next ride. U put it on each side of the gasket?

BUILDER
I would say massive air leak on that side. Hmmmm I have never used sealer on my reeds. I think you guys need better intakes!
locogato11283
Chariot. Actually K&T recommended I do it. Said most engines leak there, sure enough after I put the gaskets and intakes on and pressurized it, sprayed it with windex and the right side bubbled up. Put a little 1211 and that was the end of that leak. Well I'll be dipped in dog shit... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
