Best bang for my bucks

I have a couple hundred bucks to spend on the quad right now. Im wondering what everybody thinks would be my best move.

I have a stock motor setup w/ pro design intake & pro circuit exhaust.

I do mostly trail riding, fire roads, and sand pits.

I want to get a cool head w/ 21 cc domes but was wondering if this setup will show me bigger gains than putting in different reeds like the VF3/ VF4 setup? Might be a dumb question but im new to the banshee scene and couldnt find how much hp gains each made and if its that noticeable.

What does everyone think?

weld crank and port it! then to timing mod or buy a plate only 45 bucks at fast

I guess my thoughts are; if im going into the bottom end it seems smarter to me to do a 4 mil setup than to weld the stocker.

I guess maybe i should just save some more and get the 4mil crank and do a stock cyl 4mil setup.

Just seems like i hear alot of people that just piss away money beating around the bush and then end up with a 4mil setup anyways.

Could i run a 4mil crank, stock ported cylinders, and stock carbs?

I think it would rip pretty good still even if you ported your stock jugs for the 4mil and you would also need a new stroker head for the 4mil anyways so then just use some 21cc domes. Later on you could get bigger carbs, reeds, +4 timing and stuff and it would wake that 4 mil up real good.

 True. Excellent point.

You buy pieces and parts, then one day you decide to do a full motor build and you find out 1/2 the pieces you bought don't fit the new puzzle. I'd say save now and buy a whole motor combo rather than blindly slapping pieces together. Besides....how many times do you really want to work at re-jetting new combos? Save your cash and go big a little later.

Focus on safety for now. Get ready for more power. Upgrade to better shocks, fresh chain and go through the brakes so your ready to handle the additional HP.
