So Cal Suspension Posted September 15, 2012 Report Share Posted September 15, 2012 No need to call. The optimum shock length for the complete YFZ450 front end is 17.5 inches. That will get you back to around stock height. The YFZ450 shocks end up being a little too short because of where the banshee upper shock mount is located. Essentially, there's not really much you can do. The stock springs are progressive spring rates, so you can crank the preload as far as you can, but it's still gonna sit a little low.
