How do you get max ride height on banshee with yfz450 front end

hey everybody, im trying to save our friend matt at so cal a annoying phone call from canada :shootself: :shootself: tomorrow but i was just wondering how do you get max ride height with the yfz450 complete front end?

 

if i turn the washer and lock washer either way it doest seem like it is doing much lol ... banghead banghead banghead

 

any input would be appreciated

No need to call. The optimum shock length for the complete YFZ450 front end is 17.5 inches. That will get you back to around stock height. The YFZ450 shocks end up being a little too short because of where the banshee upper shock mount is located.

 

Essentially, there's not really much you can do. The stock springs are progressive spring rates, so you can crank the preload as far as you can, but it's still gonna sit a little low.

if your on a budget... go get some LTR 450 front shocks. their decent shocks in stock form . the ltr shocks will also get you back to the right hight if not close to it and easly found on ltr450hq.com

 

 

im just wondering cuz im using shit i already had not intrested in buying more junk thats useless i want elka not half ass shit but for now its better then bent stock a arms
