Rondizzy Posted September 12, 2012 Report Share Posted September 12, 2012 I was offered a frame that has some damage in the front bumper area and the top where the stem is held, a arm set, stem, and the tank for 80 bucks... is it worth it? Also I am 6'4 and 280 am I wasting my time wanting to build one? I would be starting from scratch but have the people, tools, an aptitude to be able to go this route. When I asked about frame he said it would be good for an drag bike and really wanting to know if it is worth a 2 hour drive to see/pick it up. I am hoping to build/get one on the cheap/barter. Started with a rough looking bike that I thought was a steal ( $ 1,150) By the time I got done with the build I spent another $2,800. Good luck though.
