Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk the coil never got tested to prove good gor bad?? not to mention everyone runs the stock coil so not to many people would have paid the $600 for one anyway the reeds are what I would say is one of the first mods people do to there quad.. so for $200 if you need new ones its not a bad deal imo I'm not going to go buy them either way cause mine are still good.. kinda like the pipes if you have cpi or shearer not really worth buying another pipe imo unless you can try it first or score a used set for cheap?? I would tell the same thing to a buddy if they ask .. if they had cpi or sniper pipes why spend 600 on new ones unless you can do it cheap its not that were listening to john its just a easy mod to try if you have reeds you already know the 2's or 3's would sell for $100 or so so its really only a $100 gamble to some its worth the risk I am not a risk taker when it comes to buying parts so I will not get them at this time. And mine work great to me my bikes throttle response is amazing and I tend to drive idle or full throttle so not sure what my gains would be either way, and I'm not about to spend 1-2 hundred for 1-3 hp gain anyway. as for the pipes if someone had a set of snipers I would love to try them if it cost me nothing what would I have to loose if they were really better I would also tell everyone what I did or did not like about them simple as that. same goes for the takia coil but Im just not gonna buy one cause someone says its good.. I bought a set of cpi pipes for 175$ tried them and liked them talked to some people got them dialed in. next time I talked to matt shearer I told him he said what did you like about them I told him he then said ok next time your working on the bike try this and that and try the pipes again low and behold they preformed like the cpi on bottom but now I have better mid and top than before? maybe a fluke idk but his help when I ask was appreciated I then sold the cpi for 250$ so there was no loose on my part. anyway this is gonna be a book if I keep going 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There was 4 of us riding this thing and we all came to the same conclusion that they are better than 3's, feel like 2's and are leaps better than the duncans. pulled them out one more time and put them in the wifes stocker(t5's, stock carbs, +4 timing and pods)and holy fuck, bottom end everywhere so im gonna order up a set for that.
