llehctim23
I have a 2004 Banshee. The motor is all stock and it has been acting up. It would run fine sometimes but then others it. It would start bogging out and lately it won't even start. I pulled started it yesterday and it is still doing the same thing but I still can't kick start it. I have cleaned carbs, new plugs, checked compression (112 in both), cleaned the reeds, checked all the fuel lines, unhooked the TORS and nothing seems to work. Can anybody help? Rustynail
Well start by getting the tors delete....while the carbs are off to install the kit, pull all the jets and clean them good.....run a wire brush trough the pilot jets to make sure there is no blockage...then start saving for a new topend cuz 112 is awfully low. llehctim23
I had the jets cleaned when the carb was clean too. I am new to the banshee world so I'm still learning but what should stock compression be? I have read places 110-120 and then others will say closer to 150 or higher.
