Black Aligator 160mm Wind Cutter MTB Rotor

Recommended Posts

I think most lower end stuff comes with 160s on the front and back. I just upgraded my diamond back to hydro and it was set up like that. Hydro stuff came with a 180 front and a 160 rear.

Didn't mean for this post to come across as this is a low end rotor. Sorry if it sounds that way. I have no idea. I was just referencing the size. It is a cool lookin rotor. Looks light.

Sorry for the delay.

Yea most newer MTB's come with 160mm rotors. I did notice a little beter braking with this one over my standard tektro 160mm rotor. There are some MTB's that come with 160mm on the front and 140mm on the rear. So this one could be placed on the front, then take your stock 160mm and put it on the rear so you would have a 160mm front and rear setup with the better rotor on the front.

As long as your replacing a 160mm rotor with a 160mm rotor nothing else is required. If your going up in size then you need a new calipar bracket. Preferably the same brand as the calipars.

You can also use this on a GoPed if your running MTB brakes on it as well. I run this same rotor only a 140mm verson on my GoPed BigFoot.
