Ronnie
Hi, I have a 99 Banshee and I want to replace the headlight guards. How do I do this? Do they just pop off? Should I use a Flathead screw driver to do it?

Ronnie
there is a small screws you have to pull out, if you dont, your just going to fuck up the guard. Is it that single screw on the bottom of the light? The guards are broke and I want to replace them.

No, that is the aiming screw. If they are the early glass lenses, the guards should pop off with a screwdriver. If they are the later plastic lenses, you have to replace the entire outer ring or if you don't want them on there just cut them off with a cutoff wheel and smooth up the edges. ATVridinMaNiAc
Theres a small screw underneath you have to take out, not the tiny screw that will be facing you thats the adjuster, the one thats pointing down. Once thats out it will slide out, it has a little piece that catches on top of the cover you'll see what i mean, it slides into place. If the little plastic grill is messed up on the covers just cut them all flush with the housing, looks better imo. Number 11 is what holds it in place. sheerider11
I got one out but the other screw is in bad shape. You guys know any tricks to get it out? Take a dremel and cut a notch in it for a flat screw driver.
