Ive been buying a lot of parts from the FS forums, gotten some great stuff from people! Mabye it is a good thing!

Gotten a lot of good info and tips from searching around as well.

Ive changed out a lot of items on my bike and will try and sell some of it at some point. (Mostly stock items) Figured I better hang around and get to know folks before just jumping out there with stuff for sale.

Cant blame folks for being hesitat from buying from a Newbie!

New here. I bought a 2002 a few months back and have been doing work on it, this site has helped in many ways by just looking though old forums. Great site.

Sorry I never introduced myself. Names Travis and Im located just north of the Wisconsin Dells. Mostly was doing research on if I wanted to a banshee or not. After lots of reading, I bought an blue 04 that only has pro taper bars and pro circuit silencers, otherwise all stock. I would put a couple more posts to be known, but the search works great and I can usually find what I am looking for. Thanks for putting up such a great site.

Yeah I hear ya, would have saved lots of money. Had an 04 kawi KFX400 with big bore, cams, air filter/ muffler and didnt impress me much. Bought a 400ex this spring for cheap and rode that a couple times, but wasnt for me. A guy at work talked the banshees up alot so decided on looking into them, and found a couple cheap modded ones, but ended up with this almost stock one from a local dealership. They sealed the deal by throwing in a whole set of new tires and lowering the price to what I was looking to pay, registered and all, out the door. Bike has been great, love the powerband and sound for sure. Sounds almost like a happy camel with stock pipes.:P

What year is your banshee and mods?

Well I've been drag racing honda civics the past few years best pass to date is 11.0 @ 131 mph and if you know anything about them Turbo K series / rsx engines arent cheap neither is drag racing imports haha so the Banshee fills the need for speed and dont cost a fortune every week to run it .My banshee is an 04 in mint condition with very low hours and has barely been ridden it has Toomey T-6 pipes and K & N filters , prm nerfs ans a kill lanyard other than that its bone stock w/ stock carbs that are kickin my ass trying to re jet lol

Used to be into civics when I lived in the northern suburbs of St. Paul, MN. Had a green EG hatch that I put a d16a6 with a junkyard turbo setup, did all the fab myself. Wasnt fast but was fun to drive. I do remember reading about the k swapping in magazines, must be a hell of a ride with a turbo k tho. Dont see many civics nowdays, have been mostly surrounded by riced out cavaliers and ford probes where I moved to in WI. Ive met alot of local car guys though that are into V8 cars of new and old, so its not so bad. Sounds about the shape of my quad, very clean looking with no real use from previous owner by the looks of it. What are you having troubles with, Main jet or pilot? I thought there was a jetting database stickied on the exhaust and jetting section here to give a starting point.

I 've been reading the jetting section and am getting closer somewhere around 280s and 290 s at sea level with 25 pilots trying to confirm float level settings and may have to move the needles but trust me i am on it haha
