I was to cheap to buy another tank so i just found nuts that fit the tank shroud bolds and epoxyed them back in the tank!! It works!! troyzstang
It's a real easy fix. Just hook your drill to the bolts and spin out the entire assembly. Then go to Home depot and get a couple of press in anchors. Works perfect. I 'll try to find a picture of what you will be looking for at home depot. Real easy fix and it works perfect. Starwriter
This happened to a friend of mines Shee. The idiot that had it before used RED loctite on EVERYTHING, including those tank bolts. As mentioned, cut the heads off, then try to work on it with vicegrips. That way, the only thing your risking is the tank and there are lots of those out there. Luckily for my friend, I had a spare tank.

troyzstang
As requested. Home depot offers these. Works perfect. They do not come with bolts though. Just open a pack while your there and find a few that will fit. It's kind of an odd size thread. You won't have any in your scrap box so make sure you find a few whlle your there. Good luck Troy
