forrest411
How much can you bump up the compression before needing to weld the stock crank? Thanks
special06shee
Id say it would be a good thing to weld the crank regaudless of compression!! But on one of my old setups i had 155psi and the crank started to separate rather quickly.. The crank did have pretty many hours on it tho before i bumped the compression! lms1977
I would say weld it also but.. I had 190psi in my old setup and ran is for a while never had a problem... although I was always worried about it I just figured if it went I would go with a bigger crank so it would be a win win for me either way!!! bansheesandrider
My crank came apart with nothing more done to the motor than a set of pipes- stock timing and compression. The motor was less than 1.5 years old from brand new. Welding the crank is the first thing I do to any Banshee I own now.
