So I've just got done with doing the dc conversion followed all instructions based on this....

And I have these 3 wires left over, the blue from the old ac regulator and the two old wires that go the stator...

On the instructions it says to eliminate the two old wires and run two new yellow ones to the new dc rectifier.

The bike started and ran, and the lights all worked before changing the stator and wiring configuration.

Any help would be gladly appreciated.

Thanks Glen

I just put the stock black wire to the ground on the frame and yellow/red wires to the battery and the lights came on.

The thing is the side lights are still flickering as if u were running an ac circuit? And they're only 5w the main only powers up with the throttle open?

Here's what I've done...

The yellow wire and the White one from the stator are wired into the dc rec

The red from the rectifier is run to the positive terminal

The black to the negative

The old blue ac wire discontinued

The battery is also grounded

And as mentioned above ....

Stock yellow/ red to the positive terminal

And stock black to the ground

I'm going to have to check the stator as it was supposed to been pre wired for dc

everything is sorted now, got my new led rear light running right.

Anyone familiar with a multimeter?

They don't come with a whole lot of instructions and I haven't used one since school. I just wanted to measure the current coming going to the battery.
