Colby
ok, i am just asking opinions or if anybody ever tried it what do you guys think about running pro curcuit pipes and 28 pwk carbs on a 421 cheeta cub motor, or the pro curcuit pipes with 36 pwk carbs i am just asking opinions because i still want to do alittle trail riding with it your defeating the purpose of a cub with pro circuit pipes... cpi, sniper, or shearer .. and def use the 36 pwks.(39 would be better)
vulvafan537240
member finch just built a stock stroke cub with stock carbs and t5's. looked like it ran good but like colby said, shearers, cpi, snipers, etc and bigger carbs would be a better fit. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=158134 Edited August 26, 2012 by volfan537240
okbeast
Just get your stockers ported, don't waste the money on a cub. Unless you want to do a Serval or a PV motor.
bansheemandan
i just got a hell of a deal on the 421 cheeta, that is why i am going with it, i already have the carbs and pipes, but we trail ride about 20 miles each time we go out and hill climb (coal hills), i ran cpi's and shearers before and i did not like them for trail riding, i know the cheeta is alot more top end so i figured that i would run the pro curcuits to gain a little more bottom
vulvafan537240
Do you already have the cub cylinders? If not, I agree to go with a serval or port the stockers.

Handyman
If you can trade your cubs for a set of cheetah powervalve cylinders... The PV in the exhaust port will give you some low end torque and willl rise up when you really get on it for the hill climbs...I have a set of PV cylinders and people are amazed at my low end power... I use them for trail riding, ripping at the dunes and hill climbing...
