SpeedRacer88
i have a 660 roller my co worker wants to sell me for 200$ Complete with blown and rusted motor. I know i can make my money back selling the cases and tires alone. What i want to know is this roller a good candidate for my 10mil serval? I have never rode a 660 will it be a huge improvement over my stock suspension banshee frame? There is a guy on another forum who has done this conversion and is willing to fab me up motor mounts for 150$, He also says that the rator frame requires no modifications to your pipes he ran cpi's no problem. Any advice? I heard the 660s where wheelie monsters but i also heard you coud fab a banshee swingarm to fit it which is 2" longer and wider that a raptor stock swinger? I'm gonna get the bike reguardless because its worth more than 200 in parts... All posts welcome...
mike0chek
imo if you were do all the work and pay out for some fab, theres better rollers you could use. i might of missed it while reading but are you going to be keeping the rappy? mike0chek
a 450 frame would be best i think, ive seen rappy frames break, dont know if its a common flaw or not.
SpeedRacer88
Also I don't have to do any fab work there is a guy willing to sell me a motor mount "kit" he says only thing I have to weld on is the back mounts Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk

SpeedRacer88
The money is minimal for this conversion I just want to know if the performance will be worth it since I've never rode a 660 Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
n2otoofast4u
that would be the sweetest conversion EVER!
mike0chek
your best bet would be try try a raptor out and see for your self.

SpeedRacer88
Are the 660 and 700 frames the same? I've ridden a 700 not the best "race" or mx frame but a damn good trail quad Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk

The front motor mounts is the easy part. YOu could use almost any motor mount you want if you wanna do it right. Its the back mount and lining up the motor. I like being different and doing different things but it would be more practical to stick it in a yfz. fuck the raptor
