Whobrey47
took it all apart. reeds look great. needles were on 4th clip, moved down to 5th. unplugged the tors clip and twisted wires together. still getting good spark. tightened the caps with channel locks. cleaned carbs again, sprayed with cleaner then blown out. Now it wont start.
#1JUANstunna
What mods are done to this thing? Pipes, jetting etc. You unplugged the tors under the tank so why did you twist the wires together?
sheerider11
A doucheing in the carbs isn't going to work. Pull the jets and really clean them. Why did you move the needle?? Untwist the wires.
hoppedupandcutdown
double check the choke tube is still connected between carbs.
Jereme6655
Under your gas tank on the left side towards the front of the bike.......there is a little black box. Disconnect that black box.....it Is the BRAIN of the TORS unit. Then make sure there is a small black tube n place between the two carbs......there are nipples that this tube goes on.......this is your choke tube.....it uses vacuum pressure to enable the choke on the right carb. They usually refuse to start if you knock this loose or forget to put the choke tube back on.
Whobrey47
choke tube is in place and everytime I clean the carbs I completely remove them then take the bowl off and take the jets out and spray em out then blow air thru em. Ill check that black box thing when I get home. I moved the needles cause someone else suggested it to me. All the thing has done to it is pipes a knn and jetted. I really just wanna pay someone to figure it out I never have time and when I do get to come home the last thing I wanna do is fuck with this thing, if it was running itd be a different story. Anyone got any suggestions
