tristan Posted August 16, 2012 Report Share Posted August 16, 2012 Installed a mull water impeller and billet gear but the impeller rubs the housing bad and their is alot of play back and forth and yes i installed it right checked and re checked please help dont believe it should be like this. tristan Posted August 16, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2012 Yes it seated its almost like where the impeller meets the seal is to short on the impeller its self i was going to go with the pro designs but someone said just get it from mull when i got the gear so i did now im having this problem. blowit Posted August 16, 2012 Report Share Posted August 16, 2012 Guys, I am involved right now and will work through the issue with him. I am still not quite sure what the "play" is but I believe this is in reference to the axial or push/pull play in the impeller with the pump cover off. They all move a bit in that respect but never the less, we will get it figured out and get him going. I am still not sure what is going on.
