jsinar
So my idea of fixing the scratches didn't work, made it worse. So I'm about to cut my fenders, going to leave the "wings" like I've seen on some pictures.. I try to avoid all mudholes as it is now, but sometimes you can't. My main concern is how bad is it as far as getting dirt and crap in your face is it with cut fenders vs. uncut?

Race cut plastics is more of a visual and personal preference, but I usually say they are more aerodynamic less drag, weight and saves on gas. Those words are usually deciding factors for many of my riding friends, which is probably a bunch of BS.

ATVridinMaNiAc
Ull get slapped with some mud here and there but its not too bad. Main reason for it was actually not for the look, it was so you had less drag at high speeds which actually makes more of a difference then you would think. It would also cut down your weight quite a bit on the track, all that mud that gets clunked up under those fenders adds alot of weight, lastly it allows you to see your front tires and some of your front suspension which will let you see how your tires are cleaning out and to navigate tight trails a little better and keep a better eye on things. thomas h.
Just wheelie over them and for the times that doesn't work upgrade to +3 a arm so the mud mostly goes passed you vs stock.

jsinar
Has anyone done a before and after mph test when they cut their fenders? I can't get but about 71-72 out of mine, but i'm sitting there watching the front fenders bow back like crazy, it almost looks like I'd get 5 mph out of it if I cut them.
