Powder coating epoxied cases?

Recommended Posts

So I am in the process of building a 10 mil super serval. I dont know much about ten mil motors. When I trench cases they may have to be epoxied ? If there is a thin spot it may break through and have to be epoxied ? I def want my cases powdered so if it wont stick to epoxy guess Ill have to get em welded

ive powdered over jb weld and the jb stick with good luck. i use it to fill unwanted holes like the hole for the vent tube on the clutch cover. powdercoat will stick to most anything that will resist the heat. ive read about glass and even wood being coated.

this is true, ive herd ppl saying the pc there home cabinets for watever reason. as long as a static charge can be conducted the powder will stick. unlike paint powdercoat goes from solid to liquid to solid creating a shell around the part.
