old put-put Posted August 8, 2012 Report Share Posted August 8, 2012 I got my motor back from Kevin yesterday, giddy like a school girl to get started putting it back in the frame wooohoo. After checking it over the tote I sent it in and sent back in looked like it was kicked out of the truck going down the highway, tore all to shit thanks fedex!! So anyway opened it up and the left exhaust flange was bent on the top down about .280 not usable brand new cub cylenders. called fedex they say the shipper must file a claim, so called Keven and he waas very supprised to hear of the damage and said he would ship a new ported cylender and gaskets and orings and would deal with fedex. I was unbelievably supprised that he would do this because the damage was in no way his fault or responsibility. What load off of my mind. So in a nut shell HJR customer service, five star in my book, heard alot of good things about Kevin and now believe every word of it . If anyone needs or wants motor work done HJR is the ONLY PLACE TO GO!!!!! I wish other places I've delt with in the past would take note of this, some not so good.
