If you only have one inline cooler then you slip it on the top line, but if you have two then slap one on each line. I'm not really sure about the temp guage but i'd say on the top one cause the coolant exits the motor from that hose so mount it on that one for the most accurate reading i'd say.

i put mine on the lower hose for the bling affect, looks kool when you look between my pipes and see a nice fat cooler with a shock proof temp gage sitting in it, ill take a pic this week and post it, i was going to mock it up in a radiator hose then run it upper and then lower for a while and compare the 2 readings and just do the math between the 2 so i could still have my bling, yet get accurite temp readings......

Go out and get some foam to fill the spaces around the radiator or fabricate a plastic deflector for the shroud if you have not already.I got this tip from someone on this site,I think.

Its alot cheaper than the inline cooler and will guarrantee a good 15-20 degree drop.I had two of those coolers and once the shee got hot, those things didn't do shit according to the gauge.

But after I filled the space around the radiator,my shee never saw temps over 190 and after the impeller it rarely sees 190,even riding at slow speeds behind other quads.

The air will find the quickest way out and thats around the radiator.

as far as mounting the temp guage it depends on which type you get if you get a heatseeker type you would mount it to the line that runs by the right side of the gas tank. ayou us a candy or meat thermoter sp than you the line off the head and get a hose t and splice it into the t

there is a website with instructions to do it. i dont know it off hand

I got my 18-fin cooler from c_rossman on ebay. Looks sweet and for the price you can't beat it. I'm waiting for my new radiator to get here so I'm not gonna install it yet, no need to drain/refill the coolant anymore than i have to. I'll post a review once I get it on.

I got the foam from a Home depot. It is 1 inch by 1 inch block foam and it comes in a roll about 6 ft long. You'll find it where the door sealers and camper tape are. There is no adhesive on it.All you have to do is run the strip around the radiator,Once the shroud is installed, the foam is trapped. It comes in gray and you don't even notice its in there.I highly recommend it for anyone with cooling problems.

I would recommend taking it out in temps under 50 degrees, otherwise your engine will never reach operating temperature.
