locogato11283
Alpinestar Tech 6 boots. Thor pants and jersey. One Industries helmet. Thor Goggles. Boots are very important. You guys that ride in tennis shoes are asking to get your ankle broken. Once broken in, riding boots are very comfortable. I would rather wear them than any work boot or regular shoe when riding. They provide much more support and actually make riding easier.

06BCBANSHEE
I hate ridig in shorts, i do it from time to time, but never feel comftorable. Same with boots; just as important as a helmet if you ask me. Mx pants are a necessity IMO

SandmanPNW
Yep, that's where I'm at. I know people have good pants that don't burn on and I was just curious as to what brand/model they were wearing.

sheerider11
Damn it wacko and infamous!! I swear by boots. If it wasn't for my boots i would have a broken ankle. As far as my pants, I bought the O'Neal zip off pants. The insides of the pants have a thick material that doesn't burn.
dave5.0
I've got a pair of alpine stars with the ATV sole I've been wearing forever. They've got leather right around where the pipes are. Most of the cool new riding pants are over boot so you gotta get the good ones with a patch on em. I've got a set of fox zip offs that have leather sewn right around the inside knee area. How the hell are you guys gettin by wearin shorts and not leavin half your friggin leg cooked on the pipe? If I try that and get even halfway aggressive I end up with matching scars. Glenyboy
Definitely have to get a set with patches, my old mini bike took care of the ones that didn't!! If your wearing a pair of mx boots most of your lower leg is covered anyway.
Infamous039
I tried them riding boots on at Cycle Gear and was like hell no these things are uncomfortable, not including they wanted $150 for them. I said F-that and spent the money on some other crap. Damn it wacko and infamous!! I swear by boots. If it wasn't for my boots i would have a broken ankle. As far as my pants, I bought the O'Neal zip off pants. The insides of the pants have a thick material that doesn't burn.
