blackandyellowshee
I have recently started to rebuild my friend shee. Someone else ripped the entire thing apart, so now I am finding parts laying around and trying to put this thing back together. I have 2 half moon clips left over. They are like the ones that hold the crank bearing and tranny bearings in the case, but they are a little bit smaller than the crank clip. I have looked everywhere to find out where these things came from! Can anyone please help? I am very desperate!

Starwriter
There's 1 small one in the transmission. It's quite a bit smaller than the crank and other tranny one. It's number 18 in this pic. http://images.powersportsnetwork.com/fiche/images/YAMAHA/2000/ATVs/921_transmission.gif
BigRed350x
They are for your transmission bearings.
blackandyellowshee
Theres a pic of them. They are definetly not from the crank or transmission, I have all 3 of those already. Its smaller than the crank and big tranny one, and bigger than the small tranny one. Thank you!!
blackandyellowshee
Yes they are Then where do they go? I already have one on the end of the crank, one on the end of the counter shaft, and one on the end of the main shaft.

BigRed350x
You only need 1 in each position you listed, if the previous owner doubled up on them, chuck them in the trash.
