Good clutch for sand dunes?

Recommended Posts

also check to make sure your basket isn't grooved up.

i just spent some coin on my trans, around $600 without getting new fibers and i am hoping it shifts like butter.

modded shift star

bearing on shift cam

cut trans

notched shift shaft

modded detent arm

billet basket

modded inner hub and pressure plate to do 8-plate setup

and a hydro set up.

i should have a hydro set up for sale soon, just need to fix it, it is a spare.

nice... one of my buddies said my shift fork could be bent. Do you think that could be a possibility?

www.farmandsandtoys.com = F.A.S.T racing...

First take ur clutch apart and get to your shift star and take it off and grind the tips of the star down on each gear except neutral. (has a half moon in it). Go down till its just around the pins on each(get a pic of one to see it if u need) get his clutch kit and a pancake bearing(goes on your pressure plate) with 3 stiff springs and keep 3 of your original springs. And put them on everyother. Stiff, stock, stiff, stock as u go around. Torque the 6 bolts i believe to 7 ft lbs. (not to tight they break) adjust clutch and go

Lol. Its a clutch pack that Jeff our site sponsor builds. I think its like a r1 clutch or something like that. so it can take the abuse. FAST RACING. FARM and Sand Toys. Think u can probably out it all together for around 250. I had a Magnum billet Basket which u can get from him aswell. After all of these clutch components were installed it also made it easier to find neutral.

X2. BUT U ALSO HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ALIGN YOUR CLUTCH ARM PROPERLY ON THE TOP OF YOUR CASES.
