hoppedupandcutdown
not a bad idea for you and your buddy to switch bikes and see what happens. Maybe he could tell the problem. But if he beats you on your bike, no problem.

gotta_goatsfast
Rid yourself of that stupid boost bottle and tune the carbs. In fact, just do a tune up in general. While its possible he might just be a better rider, it could be mechanical such as slipping clutch, air leak, incorrect jetting, fouled plugs, ect.... hoppedupandcutdown
Other than double checking the sprocket counts and jetting, air box lid or not, etc., I wouldn't believe there would be a noticable difference from pipe brands, I notice mine looses a ton of bottom end when the pipes need packed. jimmymichael
you are right 330/30 is pretty big for just fmf pipes. now if he has pods and maybe reeds those numbers would be better. it has boyesen reeds in it also k@n pods but i will for shure try different jets and also i live on Iowa Missouri bourder if that helps with elevation any ??
