hoppedupandcutdown
You're sucking air from some where, most likely - intake boots, alum cross over pipe, or reed gasket.
ginger
whats your compression?
Crbanshee1279
Idk compression just picked it up last night. I just had my brother push me and it fired right up ride it for about 5 min it was idling and running fine with choke out then pushed choked in and reved up high so I shut it down and then it fired up with one kick but was iding high so I shut it down idk I'm stumped all the T.O.R.S stuff is unplugged I think
Jereme6655
If it starts to rev itself up or idle really high it is because you are either running extremely lean. Either you have an air leak or you have some seriously off jetting. Either way STOP running your bike before you blow it up.
Crbanshee1279
Yea I'm looking for a set of new carbs with Tors removed that's the only thing I can think of
fastbanshee8
New carbs will not help your problems, if it's just the jetting that's causing the problems. Give us your mods, elevation, temps, and current jetting, so we can help.

Tell us the mods done to the bike so we can help you. Check your compression, do a leakdown test, get the jetting in the ballpark. You do not need new carbs, just get some jets. BrockMoto
As far as compression testing goes, go to your local auto store buy a compression tester, unscrew both plugs hook it up, kick it with the throttle wfo until the needle stops climbing, repeat for other cylinder Also buy a clymers manual

Well I got home and fooled around with the bike today kicked a few times no luck pushed it and popped the clutch fired right up had to have the choke out the hole time the it seemed to idle decent as soon soon as I let the choke in it revs high so I kill it then I kick it once and fires right up but revs high idk I'm clueless
