locogato11283 Posted July 21, 2012 Report Share Posted July 21, 2012 Why billet? There is NO advantage to running a billet crank. It can and will break just like a forged. He will replace the rods with hot rods and use Japanese bearings and its a good price. Basically he uses the webs. Wheelman Chassis Posted July 21, 2012 Report Share Posted July 21, 2012 Im pretty sure the billet cranks have different size webs to match the stroke to aid in harmonics/balance.. cast cranks use the same shape and size webs as stock and just move the pin for stroke. BigRed350x Posted July 21, 2012 Report Share Posted July 21, 2012 Details?? He crashed at the track. n2otoofast4u was there and saw it happen. From what I've heard he was going down the track on the bar and when he came down the front tires were turned or he had a tie rod failure and the bike went sideways and barrel rolled with him on it.
