Smokeblack Posted July 19, 2012 Author Report Posted July 19, 2012 No it's not titled Colorado is a non title state. I just got rid of my 99 in Idaho for a 450 and they had no problem titling with bill of sale and ohv Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 Motors are not my forte, but the title says it's a 421, but it says stock cylinder in the description? Is this a sleeve type deal? Quote
Smokeblack Posted July 19, 2012 Author Report Posted July 19, 2012 It is a 421 but with a stock cylinder Quote
Smokeblack Posted July 19, 2012 Author Report Posted July 19, 2012 The stock cylinder was sleeved and ported along with the 4 mil crank Quote
BigRed350x Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 Colorado IS a title state. You will receive a certificate of origin when you buy the bike, then when your lein is paid off you will receive a title from the dmv. If you do not have the title for it, you are not the legal owner. The only thing a bill of sale does is prove you paid for it. Which if you dont have the title for it, you are possibly in possion of a stolen bike. At least thats how the dmv and police would look at it. Post up the vin number so potential buyers can run the vin and make sure it comes back clear. I can run the vin for you if you would like. -jared Quote
Smokeblack Posted July 20, 2012 Author Report Posted July 20, 2012 http://www.co.larimer.co.us/motorv/watercraft.htm. You are getting your info from the wrong place. If you have a lien because of a loan on the vehicle they might title it for collateral purposes for the bank. Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure they do a vin check when you get your ohv stickers Quote
