Tommilicious Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Do I really have to worry about the tranny if I can't ride it there as long a compression is good? What's the rebuild point and new top end points compression wise Don't buy that BS! A 2 minute test ride won't do any damage. If the guy is serious about selling and wants a stack of hundreds he doesn't need to worry about the neighbors. If he still don't budge and you really want the quad, tell him you'll load it up and take it to the nearest big parking lot or back road to test it out. I would never buy a quad without at least going through the gears down the street and back. Quote

ClayAiken Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 (edited) Do I really have to worry about the tranny if I can't ride it there as long a compression is good? What's the rebuild point and new top end points compression wise Normally the tranny isnt an issue. Thats not saying its never going to be an issue but it is not likely. Normally for the rebuild point i would say 105-100 they can go as low as 80 but i dont see it being worth going that low. Good that you can ride it now let us know how it goes. Lowflyin Posted July 20, 2012 Author Report Posted July 20, 2012 Heres the mod list he sent me. alba +2 arms, toomey tr6 pipes, rad valve reeds (never heard of them),carb spacer plate, boost bottle (fuckin gay), elka front shocks, stainless brake lines, lonestar +2 axle with billet rotor and sprocket mounts, knn filters, new itp rims, and new itp xtr holeshots.
