willardwright59
i have pro circuit pipes, and riding up and down my back roads, theres a small hill that when going 6th gear WFO i have to down shift while going up? im not sure if it might be jetting? or maby its because of my pipes not pulling anymore. i figure with a dune port it shouldnt be like that at all. any help would be great. willardwright59
let me rephrase that, it cuts out on the top end. very badly.
dunesovertrails
your always supposed to go up hills in a lower gear
willardwright59
yeah, but its a very very small hill. my gfs bike with superstock pistons and t5s with 15/40 gearing and 22" rear tires has no problems staying in 6th wfo going up it, and my bike has way more mods. T_Shee
could also be an ignition issue. you need to somehow try to isolate the problem to see if it is one cylinder or both. if its one then swap plug wires to see if it changes sides. could just be bad plug caps on the end of coil wires
