banshee332
let the bashing begain again. I posted relusts. Showing good hp numbers on a 10mill cub on gas. track results along with a passion motor and sniper pipes being class winners of the year. Whats funny half the ass clowns in the post never seen or ran a sniper pipe and they are judging it. That makes a lot of sence to me. I never bought a chevy truck becuase years ago somebody told me they where junk.

Crazykane
I have got 67 rear wheel HP it of a stock bore/stroke DS 650 On Lonnie's dyno. That was years ago, about 10 lol. I need to take my new motor there but he didn't allow alcohol. When I seen where the dyno was at flashed back old memories lol. BANSHEE HP
so heres what i gathered by looking at the results. calss #60 25 racers total 10 races of the 25 racers, 18 went to 5 or less races. the 7 that went to more were: 6 races 7 races 6 reaces 9 races banshee332 7 races10 races 6 races the guy that went to all 10 races has the same combined points as a guy the went to only 4 races and less points then a guy that went to 6 races. class # 89 small fuel quad 8 races 10 racers 7 racers went to 5 or less races the other 3 went: 8 races= 3rd place 6 races= 2nd place banshee332 7 races= 1st place and had the class won by race
wacko2000
I'm NO nut swinger, I never chime in saying Jim this and Jim that- He's a big boy he can defend himself, that being said I've bought from and have delt with most sponsors on this site, I can't speak for Gary, i dont know him nor have we ever spoke but he seemed to have berried himself and I'm not interested in all the bs but Jim built my motor and my shit runs hard, it has ran hard with CPI's Shearers and now with snipers- there are many dudes on this site that can vouch for my motor!! They can speak up if they want doesn't matter to me.. Sleeper06 has assembled and worked on all my shit hats off to him as-well he knows his shit great great dude and he also knows me very well Im anal and just want my shit to run and run well all day! He's my go to guy for sure I'm not here to take sides, not my thing really not interested in that baby shit!!As far as the pipes go,I like testing new shit I'm constantly messing with my setup 500-800 on pipes surly isn't gonna make or break me- snipers fit amazing, craftsmanship is second to none but on the performance end if they don't hold there own they won't be on my bike and Jim would be getting a phone call!!Nothing personal Jim knows how i am,but ill test and try anything!!For the record, when Jim had originally built my motor I was running a cherry set of CPI's and really did not wanna part with them, so I didn't!! I ran them for 2 years or so!! Jim had told me from the very first phone call to ditch the CPI's and run Shearers I would see big gains 6-8hp roughly!! Just saying...I did eventually make the switch to Shearers, they ran great no complaints there, I def felt gains over my CPI's but they just fit absolutely terrible, rubbing on the head melting my cherry oem original plastics from 00 etc etc etc Like i stated earlier im anal and they just weren't for me, completely turned off by them. around this time was when the snipers were hitting the market so here I am- I'm running snipers now!!Once I heel up and the weather breaks ill put some real hours on them and we'll see what happens!!I have a few tests ride on them and they fely great- ill buy another set of Shearers and do some testing side by side I could careless Jim will get the honest truth- if he gets upset well than so be it!!Simple as thatJoe

locogato11283
Being a race competitor myself, I feel that a series is a better showing of over all riding ability, tuning, equipment, etc.. I run D23 hillclimbs and have for a long time. In 2009 I came in 2nd to my brother. I won in 2010 and 2011. And I took 4th in 2012 attending only 4 climbs (won 3 of them). That said, I have never won the Open ATV class at Nationals yet each of those years at Districts I beat the National champ easily. Consistency is KEY and to me winning ONE race proves little. This really has nothing to do with Shearer/Sniper, just my thoughts on a series versus a single race.
WINDYCITYJOHN400
coming from the suspension guy ?? lol do you know anything about an engine? Coming from a guy who asked THIS just less than a year ago.......WTF do YOU know about engines? Colby Posted on 01 April 2012 - 07:57 PM Hey guys, this is the first time ive attempted to tackle a complete banshee build. Not totally sure what i want to do yet. Im leaning towards a stock stroke/bore cheetah cub. Im sure i will have a ton of questions that the clymer will not cover. Already have CPI s/b inframes, 34mm PJ's, K&N clamp on, Pro Design Cool Head, V-Force 3. Bike had 18cc domes in it, has been having pump gas (91 octane through it) since i was told it has always been ran on pump gas. Didnt notice any pinging, but the tops of the pistons are blackened and rough. Altitude is at around 3100 ft. I will not be running race gas through the bike so I think im gonna go with 20cc domes. (custom cut for cub heads most likely) Heres a few pics of what ive gotten done so far today. Now im gonna have to look into the clymers before I go any farther. Are the top of the pistons supposed to be that black? And they are textured rough. Is this normal?
WINDYCITYJOHN400
haha bhp. prolly coulda won by just turning up and riding slowly to the end of the track hah Hahahaha Only 4 guys showed to more than 60% of the races! So these amazing race results are only against 4 guys! He's the only dude in the series that really took it seriously. We're supposed to marvel at his results? Hell I make more appearances at the track for test and tune than some of the guys in this series actually raced. LOL How many years have these pipes been out now? (Notice: He's also NOT running the In-Frames...so we're still talking about a pipe custom built for this motor.) But seriously....How long has this pipe been out now?...and we only hear about ONE guy who beat 4 others at his local race track. WOW...so Jim and Gary didn't beat a single person at the HQ ride....and Brad (Banshee332) has beat 4 guys. Stunning results.
