sheerider11
Are the slides sticking?? Or are the rpms hanging?
yamahaty
Are the slides sticking?? Or are the rpms hanging? Im not exactly sure the slides are smooth as can be. When im riding it i let off and it stays as if i was at 1/4 throttle and sometimes it will stick around 3/4 to full throttle and i just shut it off then i fire it back up and it will be ok till i let off the throotle again and it does the same. But like i said the carbs are spotless.
Nightmare
Pull the slides. Mine did the same thing, felt smooth as butter but as soon as i pulled them i found grains of sand on them. Cleaned them up and had no problems after that.
Paulie B
This might be a stupid question but have your lubed your cable recently?
thomas h.
Also test cable. Remove throttle and just move by hand. If it sticks possible new cable or maybe the way the cable is routed.
Remus
Yip, ill bet you its the cable, pulled mine of today, sometimes it stuck at full throttle, sometimes at idle, it only takes n dry cable guide or broken strand on the cable to make it stick. BrockMoto
Check the cable, and make sure its oiled too, dirty slides are what usually cause this tho I'd check em again and if they are dirty check your filter for rips
