rear brake setup for drag bike

Brake pads usually aren't the weak link in stopping on dirt. The tires locking up and sliding is what keeps if from stopping. You should be able to get on the brakes hard enough to lock them up (though I don't like to do that, can get kinda hairy.) If not, you may just need to bleed the brakes.

This is what I use on my yfz drag bike.. Killer set up, saves a ton of weight.. Custom brake stay with a twin piston caliper

I use this as a hill shooter and it's always worked great..

If your looking for lighter yet I've seen some 300ft guys who run moutian bike calipers or shifter cart calipers..

I ran a shifter cart one for down hill until the brake stay broke but I'm sure that could have been prevented
