2strokeshees
Here in Oregon on the coast (coos bay) and cant completely get this bike tuned well. Here is the setup, tell me what you guys think. Its on the girls bike which is just fmf's, pod filters, stock reeds, no motor work, just re-built. Mixture - 40:1 Main - 290 Clip on 2nd pos. Pilot - 30 Air screw is 1.5 - 2 turns Bike just seems real laggy in the low end, I havnt ridden it yet 1-6 wot and looked at plugs but I can tell by my ear its not perfect. Pipes get warm pretty quick so I though it was lean but to my ear it seems fat. Carbs are squeeky clean, filters are fresh, reeds are in decent shape, no leaks. Its got to be an easy fix but I need to see what you guys think. Edited July 10, 2012 by 2strokeshees
RadarRacing
Dont know if you know it or not but pipes can be very hott from a rich running engine just as it can from being lean. Thats why you need to pull plugs and look at the smoke ring on the plug by chopping em. It may be fine on the mainjet and be off on the needle or airscrew. I do chops on the topend as well as doing the needle but I like to keep the needle richer than the main by a little.
fastbanshee8
Your pilots seem too big. If there is no motor work, and just a few bolt on parts, try some 27.5 pilots.
