blubyyou
Just curious as to what would be a good clutch lever for my banshee. Clutch is a little stiff with my 3 hd springs in it now and new oem cable. The threads on the lever for adjustment are stripping out so I'm losing some adjustment. I want a smooth, light as possible pull....didn't know if shorty levers would be a good choice or not by ASV? Opinions please......

blubyyou
That's what I was thinking with the shorty levers....wouldn't have the leverage. What sponsor has the msr levers? Jeff @ fast? I like to order from people who support the site instead of ebay. I just want to get the pull as smooth and effortless as possible. I know it won't be as light as stock but want it the best it can be if that makes sense.
tedd1
Lever Spend the extra $12 and get the bearing.
blubyyou
Thanks again....that's the one I was strongly considering.
hp2000
I have ASV f3 shortys on both my bikes with a fresh cable, 6 barnett springs and my pull is really easy.
blubyyou
Just when i thought I had it figured out....so the shorty levers aren't that bad? How stiff is the pull compared to regular length levers ?
hp2000
No they are not bad or hard on the pull at all I like them and only use 2 fingers to use the clutch...
RadarRacing
About everything Jeff at FAST sells is good but IMO that lever isnt that great. The magnum lever is a good one, I dont know if any sponsors sell it but it is well built and easy pull. Magic racing sells it if you cant find others. I wish chariot or somebody would make a nice one.

blubyyou
I thought Rudy at magic racing retired ? Or is this a different company?
fastbanshee8
Lever Spend the extra $12 and get the bearing. That is a great lever, with the bearing. I've had it for at least 5 years, and I'm running 6 HD springs. The pull, with a good clutch cable is easier than the pull on a completely stock clutch. locogato11283
ASV F3 shorty all the way. I have 6 stiff springs and a lockup and have no problem two finger clutching my shit. Anyone who says a shorty is too hard to pull in is either 12 year old girl weak, has a shitty worn out cable or improper setup.
Azryll
I got a MSR Pro Rapor clutch lever. It helped quite a bit and there are several adjustments that you can miss with to dial it it. I've read on a couple places the clamp breaks but I think its cause they didn't swap new cables. There are cheap and help out alot as well. Any of the others listed look like quality stuff as well. hp2000
I had the MSR also not bad but the clamp broke on us when I tried swapping to a fresh cable :/ ASV has a good waranty also and they look the best imo...
