#1JUANstunna
Underlined in red are the areas that I'm thinking about removing. I'm looking for guys that have done it or seen it done. I'm trying to not break it so if they need to stay they will but if not they got to go. I'm 135 lbs and it's a 4 mil stock cylinder bike. Tell me from your experience what can go and what can't. yzrmbsg
You have enough removed, looks like you are wanting to cut out all of the support the frame has. You are light, thats gonna make you win! Sent using Tapatalk!
#1JUANstunna
Anyone else have input? If not I think I will power wash it and shoot it with some rattle can and making it a little prettier. I have a couple races next week.
jbirdshee
I don't know about taking out the gussets, but have you thought about drilling holes throughout the frame? They can take out a decent amount of weight without messing with the integrity of the frame.
possum
The gussets arent heavy enough to make a difference. To warrant the strength loss.

#1JUANstunna
Ok I'm leaving it be and just going to power wash it. Fresh coat off Walmart black should be good for a tenth or two.
BigRed350x
If you want to go lighter, get yourself some chromoly... Or just buy my drag bike I have for sale right now... plenty of go-fast for ya! - Jared
#1JUANstunna
I wish I had your money Jared! My plan is to have Chris (wheel man) extend the front this winter and maybe have him add in the chrome moly were its warranted.
