Any one know if this is a wang crank?

Recommended Posts

Is TZ "style" bearing the same as a TZ Bearing ??

Quite a few different companies make needle-bearing style main bearings for banshee cranks. There are quite a few good ones, but only one has the name "TZ" Companies like NTN, Koyo, etc all make big needle bearing style mains. You have to ask the seller what brand the bearing is to determine if its a wang bearing or a good one. lol

this is NOT a wang crank. that is a WSM crank.

a few years ago i had two wsm cranks in my hands...

-grey webs not black like the wang cranks

-the rods are similar but not the same markings

-the welds if you could call them that were " tac welded" after the bearings were installed, one lil bb of weld per side of the pin. witness marks were visible on the bearings.

-tolerences were funky just like the wang cranks, too tight side to side clearence on the lower end of the rod.

-the cheapest bearings used throughout

theres...

4mm crarnks.

$375 91-5722

$468 wsm 91-5721

$500 h/r 91-5709

5mm crank.

$1100 billet 91-5705

7mm cranks.

$375 91-5723

$468 91-5707

$800 wsm 91-5718

10mm cranks.

$395 91-5724

$800 forged 91-5706

$1000 billet 91-5726

why is a 5mm more then the rest?
