1-5 duneable trans

Recommended Posts

That's how i been doing it. I will let the RPM's in the engine go down before letting off the gas basically rev matching the engine. When i let others ride my bike who have no clue what an override is, i tell them just use the clutch when they let off above half throttle. Best thing is, a no name person cut mine for a good price. I hope his buddy on here see's this and lets him know it's still going strong. I bought an over ride without really riding one. Everyone said it was for drag racing only. Glad they were wrong :)

That's a quick video i did a few months ago.

You been tellin me for about a 1.5 yrs. to get a dunable.....Im sold now :D

Wacko2000 came to busco & I seen how his dunable 1-4 m5 & m6 pulled & that was my reality check. Soon as the funds are available for a 1-5 dunable, the cub is getting torn down & refreshed with a 1-5 dunable. Night & day difference

So how are these things bending forks? Why does it grenade if you back off? I'm trying to learn how these things work

the dogs on the gears are cut at an angle so when you shift to the next gear it pushes the gear you where just in out so the next gear can engage..... if you back load the trans(let off without pulling in the clutch) the gear the ramp part of the gear is now trying to push the gears apart and the only thing holding it in is the shift fork and it usually losses the battle..... dunables add springs to the shift fork shafts that make the trans more forgiving and harder to bend forks but it is still a race trans and it will still bend forks if abused....

I'm always back loading mine when i drag race and wheelie. I dont clutch to bring the front down, i just let off the gas. I'm not saying you can do it all you want, but it suits me.

If i get another banshee, i hope the same guy who made mine can do another.

thats good assurance that I can back load it some without it breaking. I still wont do it on purpose to much.

If for some odd reason, you dont like it, you wont lose much money selling it IMO.

I'm sure I will be, my old trans did not shift after I did the pipes, portwork, and 4mil.
