BigRed350x
How do you ride a duneable? Like an override if you want it to last.
RadarRacing
Toytech, if you want it to last and be able to have the advantage of the gears not engaging when backloaded you can see how to adjust the springs on atvdragracers in the 2 stroke tech section pinned at the top. They actually are more forgiving when adjusted and setup right. You will love that override the first time you ride it.
sheerider11
Like an override if you want it to last. How the hell do you ride that? Is that the one you can't back load but can shift up and down with out the clutch?
toytech
How the hell do you ride that? Is that the one you can't back load but can shift up and down with out the clutch? Kevin said you can back load it some. but don't down shift to slow down. and it upshifts just like a drag overide. no clutch up shifts. when down shifting rpm match your speed Edited July 5, 2012 by toytech

RagunCajun
I love mine. Been beating on the bike for over 2 years. Ill never own a banshee without one. If you dont need 6th, it's IMO the best option. I lost count of the races i would of lost if i didnt have it. toytech
I still don't know the difference. stock trans will not shift under full power no clutch shifts. a overide shifts under full power no clutch to shift, you have to pull in the clutch if you let off the gas or you will bend shift forks. and have to stop to down shift. a duneable will shift full power no clutch shifts, you can let off the gas without pulling in the clutch, you can down shift if you match the engine speed to the speed you are going. thats how kevin explained it to me. badassbanshee479
unless you really like changing shift forks i wouldnt be letting off the throttle without pulling in the clutch.... the dunables are more forgiving than a regular over ride but they still can and will bend forks..... i have been known to lift when in a big ol wheelie, but i always pull in the clutch when i let off the throttle for more than a sec or two and i dont down shift till i have slowed way down. That's how i been doing it. I will let the RPM's in the engine go down before letting off the gas basically rev matching the engine. When i let others ride my bike who have no clue what an override is, i tell them just use the clutch when they let off above half throttle. Best thing is, a no name person cut mine for a good price. I hope his buddy on here see's this and lets him know it's still going strong. I bought an over ride without really riding one. Everyone said it was for drag racing only. Glad they were wrong That's a quick video i did a few months ago. Edited July 7, 2012 by RagunCajun
