I had Kennedy Powersports do the dyno testing. I have the paper around here somewhere. It was around 99 with the CPI's and he put his shearers on and it got over 100.

Here's the problem. I took the engine back and put the banshee together myself, obviously I didnt do something right because about 25 minutes after riding it the engine locked up. I cant kick start it, and when I try I can hear the piston, or what I think is the piston hitting something then stopping. I dont really know what I am doing when I put it back together so if someone buys it they would need to pull the motor fix it and put it back in properly....

From what I have gathered from talking to different repair shops I am guessing its going to be around $600 to fix it. I dont have the money to do that and my only other option would be to part it out. I am taking $800 off the price I wanted.

I am asking $5,600 OBO.

This was a project I started about 11 years ago, and dont have the time or money to keep going on it. I have only had it running as a high horsepower banshee for about 60 minutes total.... both times I had it up at silver lake, raced my buddy once and then the first time the clutch vaporized, the second time, I killed the motor.

That would be an easy one to check. Let me take a look. Thanks for the info!

did you happen to check to see if your flywheel is still in tact?

I had the same thing.. same feeling in the kicker... my flywheel more or less grenaded and was rubbing on the billet stator cover... sounded bad and it made the kicker jam at spots

I forgot the cylinders were nikasil, I am dropping the price to $4,500.

Also, on the guys looking at the tires. I have to sell them with the bike, I needs all the help it can get. If I cant get 4,500 for it in the next week or so I am going to part it out and the tires will go up for sale.
