lastnline75 Posted June 29, 2012 Report Share Posted June 29, 2012 33 pwks, pods no air box, F.A.S.T dune/play port, v3 reeds, toomey t5's (soon to be cpi's). ok i got the engine broke in finally after a complete rebuild and this thing is hard to start. runs great, no bogs anywhere and will flat out scream but will not start unless i choke it. carbs are setup with 165's, 52's, and cel in the middle. any advice on where to start first? thanks. locogato11283 Posted June 29, 2012 Report Share Posted June 29, 2012 That pilot seems too big to me. I think you should be around 45-48. Main 160-162. I like the DGK needle better than the CEL. lastnline75 Posted June 29, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 29, 2012 Temps are in high 90's. Elevation is sea level, im 40 miles from gulf of mexico. The motor had a complete r/r at fast by jeff. I dont think it has an air leak. It runs great once I get it started. You just have to choke it for the first crank.
